Opened just in time for the Calgary Olympics in 1988, Earls Calgary Tin Palace is truly part of the neighbourhood in the Mission District of Calgary. A steward of casual culinary culture with a fresh made from scratch menu that offers a global selection of seasonally changing dishes and Earls favourites brings a friendly, understated approach to upscale casual dining in Calgary while an award winning wine, craft beer and cocktail list gives the bar program its spirit. A major renovation following the 2013 floods has created an open, light flooded space with a wraparound patio. Two bars include a wine bar in the lounge and a back bar that opens on to the patio in the summer though a large garage style glass window. Gorgeous use of marble, vintage tiles and butcher block style tables add a bit of sophisticated style to the casual room. Local art is featured along with custom lighting.
