It's hard to believe now, but Earls Restaurant Vancouver at Laurel used to be, of all things, a car dealership. What was once a show room is now the dining room and lounge. Both are all chic and cozy as you expect from Earls, and complete with a beautiful view of Yaletown and False Creek through the big, bright windows. The parking lot below was the mechanics shop. About the only clue you'll get to the building's history is the original garage doors that open up in the summer to reveal a gorgeous, open and south-facing patio (the only one in the 'hood on West Broadway).

All this, plus our amicable staff and unbeatable eats, make Earls at Laurel the ideal stop for a little social lubricant with your best mates, or maybe some fuel for another day's adventure on the gorgeous West Side of Vancouver.
